I purchased this car with a damaged engine. The crankshaft was reportedly broken. However a big end bolt had broken, causing the con
rod to drop from the crankshaft. The crank shaft then proceeded to belt it to death. The result was a badly twisted crank, a broken skirt
on the rear cylinder, some broken rings, and not much more. The cylinder has been welded and sleeved, and I am still waiting on an
engineering shop to complete my new crank. Then bearings have to be poured before reassembly starts.
